Finance Functional Analyst

Loyal Source is seeking a Finance Functional Analyst for an employment opportunity in Orlando, Florida.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Finance Functional Analyst will serve as the IS partner supporting Finance areas in Workday, including FP&A reporting, Expenses, Procurement, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Projects, Budgets, etc. This role involves providing consultation to Financials COEs, configuring, testing, validating, and implementing Business Process changes in Workday, and maintaining master data values.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred Workday certified

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Understanding of Finance operations and experience in Finance data management and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with Finance and IT clients.
• Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the clients’ needs and situation.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Workday Finance experience or training preferred.
• Finance functional experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Serve as the IS partner supporting Finance areas in Workday, including FP&A reporting, Expenses, Procurement, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Projects, Budgets, etc.
• Provide consultation to Financials COEs, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions, and impact analysis.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities.
• Maintain master data values in Workday across areas of responsibility.
• Configure, test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday.
• Assist in testing of integrations, security, and recurring events.
• Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate.
• Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues.
• Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen.
• Design and maintain system configuration, such as cost centers and consolidations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
• Knowledge of Adaptive Planning and PRISM preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll configuration preferred.
