About The Opportunity
A fast-growing, global organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join its finance team. This role is a critical contributor to the accounting function and will lead the end-to-end accounts payable process across a complex, multi‑entity environment. The AP Manager will oversee daily operations, strengthen internal controls, support month‑end close, and partner cross‑functionally to drive efficiency, scalability, and compliance as the business continues to grow.
This position is ideal for a hands‑on AP leader with experience in structured, SOX‑aware environments who enjoys building processes and leading teams.
Salary: 90,000 to 95,000

Accounts Payable Operations & Oversight
- Lead the full‑cycle accounts payable function, including invoice processing, vendor set‑up and maintenance, payment runs, and AP close activities.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of vendor invoices in accordance with company policies, approval matrices, and contractual terms.
- Oversee weekly and monthly payment cycles, including ACH, wire, check, and international payments.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex vendor issues, discrepancies, and payment inquiries.
- Design, implement, and maintain strong internal controls over accounts payable to mitigate risk and support SOX compliance.
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing AP schedules, reconciliations, documentation, and detailed explanations.
- Partner with Accounting and Financial Reporting to evaluate unusual or material transactions and ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
- Lead AP‑related month‑end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and review AP‑related reporting, schedules, and analytics to support management and financial reporting.
- Partner closely with Procurement, Legal, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate vendor set‑up and alignment with contract terms.
- Support the integration of new vendors, acquisitions, and business units into AP systems and processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation, efficiency, and scalability of AP operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience, including people leadership.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable operations, internal controls, and US GAAP.
- Experience supporting audits and working in SOX‑compliant or public‑company environments.
- ERP system experience required (Net Suite preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Experience working in multi‑entity and/or multinational environments is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented organization.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
