Summary
This position provides critical review of Veteran Travel prior to payment. Assists in processing and reconciling payments, researching variances, and providing customer service to incoming inquiries.
Pay Rate$60,000 / year
Duties and Functions- Daily validation of travel cases
- Review and understanding of allowed travel
- Uploading checks to bank, ERP and Shared systems for proper tracking
- Researching and providing feedback to any check inquiries
- Attention to detail is essential
- Weekly review and reconciliation to bank
- Develop and exhibit expert level of technical ability for areas of responsibility.
- Take full responsibility for timeliness, completeness and accuracy and meeting metric goals
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Mathematics
3+ years in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Requirements- Knowledge of expense reimbursements and bank reconciliation
- Workday experience
- Excel skills to include XLOOPKUPS, Pivot Tables, and large data sets
- Commitment to customer service
- A strong team player with superb interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of cash, accounts receivable/payable procedures
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and goal oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Trustworthy and attention to confidentiality
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables

Work Environment/ConditionRemote but ability to travel to office once weekly.
