Solid Gold Pets is a pet food, and nutrition brand focused on clean and healthy recipes for our furry friends. We’re now part of the Health & Happiness (H&H) Group; a global company focused on premium nutrition for adults, kids, and pets.

This role will manage the accounting function for the Health & Happiness, Inc. entity, Solid Gold and additional brands as they launch in North America.

• Reports to the Finance Director
• Perform month‑end closing activities (calendar month)
• Manage balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
• Responsible for AP/AR and General Ledger activities on a weekly basis.
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
• Manage the annual audit to ensure completion in a timely manner and with minimal adjustments.
• Collect and file appropriate supporting documentation.
• Assist in ad hoc analysis, office administration and other duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Knowledge of Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics AX (added value)
• Demonstrated intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel including the use of formulas and functions
• Independent, autonomous and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with global standards
• Calm, cool, collected under pressure and not easily agitated with multiple requests and a heavy workload
• High‑level numeracy and reconciliation skills, with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy with figures
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with a proactive approach
• Takes initiative, sets priorities and meet deadlines
• Flexible, agile and initiates continuous improvement
• Experience with Net Suite, preferred
• Potential additional hours required during training and onboarding phase and additional hours as necessary including during month‑end closing process

This is a hybrid role that requires team members to work from our Orlando office (near UCF) 3 days/ week.
