Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Must live in Orlando. Sorry no relocation.
About the CompanyWe are a rapidly growing outdoor manufacturer with a national retail footprint and a vertically integrated operating model. Our business includes:
- A 100,000+ square foot manufacturing facility
- Nationwide retail showrooms
- Global sourcing partnerships throughout Asia and Europe
- Complex logistics, inventory, and operational management functions
We are entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and operationally driven — and we are seeking a CFO who can operate at the same level.
The OpportunityThis is not a traditional corporate finance position. We are looking for a highly engaged financial leader who thrives in dynamic environments and takes ownership beyond the numbers.
The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable discussing long‑term strategy with ownership as they are walking the warehouse, reviewing inventory controls, evaluating operational inefficiencies, or troubleshooting process breakdowns with department leaders.
This role requires a hands‑on operator with strong financial discipline, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to drive accountability across the organization.
What You’ll Be Responsible For Operational Oversight & Accountability- Identify inefficiencies, financial leakage, process failures, and operational risks across the organization.
- Drive accountability through measurable KPIs, reporting structures, and operational controls.

- Lead all accounting, finance, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and financial reporting functions.
- Support ownership with financial strategy, long‑range planning, and business analysis.
- Manage banking relationships, financing activities, audits, and insurance programs.
- Provide timely and accurate financial insights to support decision‑making throughout the business.
- Oversee inventory management, purchasing controls, and supply chain performance.
- Ensure accuracy in:
- Inventory valuation
- Asset capitalization
- Vendor payments
- Lease administration
- Rent payments
- Sublease collections
- Capital expenditure tracking
- Build reporting tools and KPI dashboards across manufacturing, retail, logistics, trade shows, and corporate operations.
- Highly detail‑oriented with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.
- Willing to work “in the weeds” when necessary rather than managing strictly from reports.
- Strong background in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or multi‑location operations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a natural tendency to challenge assumptions and improve systems.
- Proven ability to lead teams, implement controls, and improve organizational performance.
- Prior experience leading finance functions within a $50M–$150M revenue business is strongly preferred.
