Financial Advisor - PNC Wealth Management

Position Overview

• Consults on investment and insurance strategies, and develops financial plans for clients, growing and retaining an investment and insurance book of business. Owns the client experience, handling sales and service efficiently, identifying opportunities and making referrals to internal partners.
• Acquires, expands and maintains client relationships through business development and networking, growing client loyalty and share of wallet through an exceptional client experience.
• Determines appropriate investment and insurance products, presents sound financial recommendations, establishes individual financial plans, and monitors and recommends changes as needed.
• Coaches and educates branch staff and internal partners to identify investment opportunities, drives investment education and visibility, and leads the branch team to achieve investment results.
• Communicates regularly with branch manager and partners to review results and pipeline management, meets service level agreements on lead and referral follow‑up, and adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines.

• Customer Focused – Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
• Managing Risk – Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Work Experience – Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s) and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Education – Bachelor’s degree.

Licenses – FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) required. Life and Health Insurance required.

Certifications – None required.
