We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retail Banking Officer to support the daily operations of a banking branch while delivering exceptional service to both consumer and business clients. This role combines leadership, branch operations, relationship management, and business development responsibilities to help drive branch growth and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and compliant banking activities
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing personalized banking solutions and outstanding service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer, commercial, and small business customers
- Handle complex account servicing requests, account maintenance, and issue resolutions
- Educate customers on available banking products and digital banking services
- Actively identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and attract new clients to the branch
- Develop referral partnerships within the local community and participate in networking and business development activities
- Cross-sell deposit products, lending solutions, treasury services, and other bank offerings based on customer need
- Collaborate with internal partners to generate referrals for mortgage, commercial, wealth management, and business banking services
- Support the achievement of branch sales goals, growth initiatives, and performance metrics
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of retail banking experience, including branch operations and customer service responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of deposit products, consumer banking services, branch operations, and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated success in business development, relationship management, and achieving sales goals
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with banking systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment while balancing operational and sales priorities
