Overview
The Facilities and Business Operations team at UCF supports the campus community by providing high‑quality services. The Finance/Budget Manager delivers detailed financial reports, analysis, and leadership insight to help UCF’s IT and broader organizational goals.
Responsibilities- Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis for the UCF IT budget (~$90M+), providing insights to support decision‑making.
- Manage daily budget and accounting operations with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Partner with the CIO and IT leadership to deliver data‑driven analysis and financial recommendations aligned with their priorities.
- Serve as a leader to a team of analysts, including hiring, coaching, developing, and recognizing staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance business processes.
- Promote a strong customer service mindset through responsive, solution‑oriented support and expertise.
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the required level under Florida Statute 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in financial reporting and analysis for senior or executive‑level leadership.
- 4+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience in accounting.
- Experience working in a large, decentralized organization.
Salary range: $75,809 to $110,000. Final salary determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity. A valid Class E driver’s license is required; the position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus.
