Our client, a large, publicly traded industry leader, is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join its Corporate Finance team. • 2+ years of progressive corporate finance or FP&A experience (internships not included)
• Demonstrated career progression
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, financial reporting, and variance analysis

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets
• Experience building financial models and developing actionable business insights
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities

• Experience partnering with cross-functional business leaders
• Ability to communicate financial results and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders
• Strong project management, organizational, and presentation skills

• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and business performance analyses
• Develop financial models to support strategic business initiatives
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
• Partner with business leaders to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Perform variance analysis and identify opportunities to improve financial performance
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Research financial discrepancies and collaborate with Accounting to resolve issues
• Present financial findings and recommendations to leadership
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing reporting, analysis, and financial processes

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial analysis
• Experience with Oracle, HFM, One Stream, Micro Strategy BI, or similar financial systems is a plus
• Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive change
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
