Job Summary
Financial Planning & Analysis Director – Carelon Rx Pharmacy responsible for providing financial leadership, decision support and strategic direction to Pharmacy leadership and operational teams to achieve the business plan, with emphasis on aligning financial and operational metrics.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison between finance leadership and the business unit.
- Present month‑end financial statements and supporting analysis.
- Prepare annual and quarterly forecasts.
- Develop internal management reports and comprehensive analyses of financial and statistical results to support senior management.
- Coordinate with actuarial teams on pricing actions and reserve calculations.
- Conduct complex financial and business‑related analysis and document findings.
- Lead and direct business improvement initiatives and projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high‑level financial analysis position (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- CPA, MBA, or master’s degree in accounting.
- Experience supporting senior management.
- Pharmacy experience.
Salary range: $119,280 to $205,758. Locations:
Chicago, IL;
Woburn, MA;
Virginia. Salary is based on a number of non‑discriminatory factors set by the company and may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
Requires in‑office presence 3 days per week to foster collaboration. Alternate locations may be considered for candidates residing within a reasonable commuting distance of an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
