Consumer Finance Associate

Overview

A law firm seeks a Consumer Finance Associate to join its Financial Regulatory practice in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of relevant experience counseling financial institutions and technology providers on federal and state financial laws and regulations.

• Counsel banks, credit unions, and Fin Techs on financial laws and regulations.
• Conduct financial regulatory and state licensing analyses.
• Draft and negotiate contracts and lending documents.
• Advise clients on compliance with federal and state financial regulations.
• Assist with regulatory enforcement investigations and actions.

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in financial regulatory practice.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to client service and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

• Education:
  
  JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Certifications:
  
  Active member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar of the state where the hiring office is located required.
