The Chief Financial Officer for Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies and the Orlando Health Women's Institute serves as a strategic financial executive and trusted advisor to hospital, institute and system leadership. This leader will help shape the financial strategy for one of the nation's most recognized women's and neonatal care environments, translating operational priorities, growth opportunities, quality goals and service-line needs into disciplined financial plans and actionable business insight.

As a member of the executive leadership team, the CFO provides enterprise-level financial expertise, monitors performance across revenue, expense, productivity, capital and operating indicators, and partners with clinical and operational leaders to advance sustainable growth, exceptional patient care and long-term value for the communities served by Orlando Health.

Responsibilities include serving as a strategic finance partner to the hospital president, institute leadership and system finance executives, providing disciplined financial guidance that supports growth, operational performance, clinical excellence and long-range planning. The CFO leads monthly review of operating results for the hospital and institute, coordinating the preparation of financial reports, variance analysis, key insights and action plans that support timely decision-making.

They develop, monitor and interpret key performance indicators that connect financial performance with operational priorities, access, productivity, patient experience and service-line growth. The CFO prepares financial projections for new programs, capital expenditures, growth initiatives, physician partnerships and proposed changes in regional or institute operations; designs and prepares ad hoc analyses as needed. They analyze budget variances and partner with operational leaders to develop practical, accountable action plans to address opportunities and improve results.

The CFO provides leadership for Care Management, Utilization Management and Health Information Management activities within the hospital in concert with Corporate Revenue Management. They lead revenue cycle, supply chain, labor management and other corporate initiatives for the hospital in collaboration with system leaders, ensuring alignment with Orlando Health standards and priorities. The CFO oversees charge capture at the facility and performs charge reconciliations to ensure appropriate charge capture on a daily and monthly basis.

They ensure timely compliance with medical record documentation, deficiencies and work queue management to support timely submission of claims. The CFO leads preparation of the hospital's operating and capital budget in concert with Corporate Financial Planning, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, institute growth and operational needs. They oversee the review, approval and financial monitoring of all capital projects at the facility and maintain the long-term capital plan for the hospital.

The CFO anticipates future trends, threats and opportunities affecting financial results, including market dynamics, reimbursement, access, labor, service-line expansion and evolving needs in women's and neonatal care. They interact with physicians and advanced practice leaders in support of hospital and institute financial goals, helping translate clinical needs and growth opportunities into sustainable operating models. The CFO updates and manages preparation of the hospital's five-year strategic plan in coordination with Corporate Finance and executive leadership.

They provide leadership, coaching and financial education to hospital leaders and team members to strengthen financial acumen, accountability and operational decision-making. The CFO manages supporting staff such as administrative support and financial analysts, as needed, fostering a high-performing, service-oriented finance team. They follow corporate standards for financial analysis, projections, reporting, internal controls and compliance.
