Key Responsibilities of the VP of Finance- Lead Accounting & Finance operations across multiple entities and locations
- Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, consolidations, and cash flow management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to executive leadership and ownership
- Oversee payroll-related accounting processes and associated financial controls
- Lead and develop the existing accounting team
- Strengthen accounting policies, processes, controls, and reporting procedures
- Evaluate current accounting technology and lead future system implementations and conversions
- Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting and finance workflows
- Improve executive reporting and visibility into financial and operational performance
- Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and continued organizational growth
- Establish scalable financial infrastructure capable of supporting future expansion
The position will spend significant time on close, cash flow and multi-entity consolidation, while also owning budgeting, forecasting, strategic projects, payroll oversight, and modernization initiatives.
Qualifications For The VP Of Finance- 10+ years of progressive Finance & Accounting experience
- Significant healthcare accounting and finance leadership experience required
- Demonstrated experience leading accounting operations within a multi-location and/or multi-entity environment
- Strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience leading and developing accounting professionals
- Proven experience improving accounting processes through automation, technology, or financial system implementations/conversions
- Experience working within a privately held or entrepreneurial organization is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and financial controls
- CPA preferred
- Strong career stability with demonstrated progression and meaningful tenure in prior positions
- Must have established ties to Florida and be able to work regularly from the Tampa-area office
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
