Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a dynamic CFO to lead us into the future. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Leadership
• Budgeting and financial management
• Treasury management
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Payroll and HR duties
• GL maintenance, preparation for 990 and audit
• State and Federal compliance
• Insurance oversight
• Contract management
• Active participation in fundraising efforts
• Other essential organizational duties

We are looking for an individual who is hungry, humble, and smart.

• Willingness to relocate to or reside in Central Florida
• Proven executive leadership experience in a for-profit or nonprofit organization of comparable or larger scale
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (advanced degree strongly preferred)
• Strong alignment with the Nathaniel’s Hope mission and values.
• Advanced digital proficiency and technical skills (including financial systems and tools)
• Genuine heart for servant leadership and desire to serve the mission
• Flexibility to handle diverse responsibilities in a dynamic nonprofit environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to continuous personal and professional growth, including developing others

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Prior experience in a nonprofit or faith-based organization
• Graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MPA, or Master’s in Accounting/Finance)
• Experience managing grants, fundraising, and donor relations
• Hands‑on experience with Quick Books Online (QBO)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, dashboards, pivot tables, etc.)

Pay: $90,000.00 – $ per year
