The City of Orlando Careers is seeking Emergency Communications Specialists to operate emergency and non-emergency 911 lines, dispatch officers, and relay FCIC/NCIC data. Position requires typing 25 CWPM and passing a police background check.
Qualified applicants must have a High School Diploma/G.E.D. and obtain FCIC/NCIC certification within 3 months; OPD certifications may be required. Shift work including evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.
