Nail Technician
The Nail Technician uses therapeutic and revitalizing techniques designed to enhance the mind and leave our guests looking and feeling their best. As the Nail Technician you will, use products to help rejuvenate our guests with a well-deserved pampering. The Nail Technician will provide Guest Service while providing a professional nail, hand and food treatment.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nail, hand and foot treatments observing spa protocols and accepted certification practices
- Have complete knowledge of all products while educating and training guests
- Perform all nail, hand and foot services offered by Resort spa
- Manage and keep a clean station and sanitize all tools; follow all salon protocol, policies, and procedures; perform prep work, clean and restock room; care for equipment and use of accurate amounts of product for cost-efficiency
- Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain punctuality, and meet service time standards while ensuring an exceptional guest experience
- Follow all procedures for recommending home care to each guest
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling, able to use hands, using repetitive wrist motion
- Engage with Guests by recognizing and greeting arriving guest, addressing needs, answering questions, while checking to ensure they are happy throughout the service
- Cast Members may be asked to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Part-time requires minimum 3 days of full availability for any shift per week including nights and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Hold and maintain a current Nail Technician license with the state of Florida with at least one (1) year of experience as a licensed Nail Technician
- Must successfully pass a Nail Technician Assessment
- Proficient in Natural Nail services, French Polish, Gel Polish, Nail Art and Hand & Foot Massage
- Can deliver clear and concise verbal and written messages that facilitate a mutual understanding
- Work with limited direct leadership, can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced salon
- Experience with standard office software programs
- Previous experience working in a spa or hotel
- Passion and knowledge of Disney Products
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
