Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr

• Make phone contact with Mentee within 72 hours of receiving referral, and make face‑to‑face contact within one week of receiving the referral.
• Submit the following on a biweekly basis:
  Contact log and the log must contain signature of the guardian or foster parent for each service rendered.
• Activity notes:
  Phone/Text/Email contacts.
• Contact logs must be submitted within the month that services were rendered.
• Abide by all rules, policies, and procedures, as stated in the Mentor Handbook, or provided by the Program Coordinator or other authorized representative of the agency.
• Must participate in all required trainings.
• Complete commitment to work with the program for at least eight (8) hours per month for one (1) year, unless otherwise agreed.
• Report any suspected child abuse and/or neglect.
• Submit monthly meeting and activity logs to the Program Coordinator, and maintain regular and open communication with the Program Coordinator or other designated staff as requested.
• Complete HIPAA and Deaf and Hard of Hearing trainings on an annual basis and submit to HR.
• Mentors are paid on the second payroll of the month following the month in which services were rendered.
• All Mentors must pass a level II background screening as well as a drug screening. This process can take approximately 2‑4 weeks to complete.
