Position: Chaplain Resident/Student - (Fall 2026-27)

Role Description

The Chaplain Resident/Student role is located in Orlando, FL and will provide spiritual ministry, faith-based support, and pastoral care to employees and individuals from diverse backgrounds and faith affiliations; offers advanced training in organizational settings . Residents (should have or be working on a Master of Divinity (M.Div) degree) complete 3-4 ICPT-accredited units to become board-certified, involving up to 40 hours/week of client care, on-call shifts, and supervision.

Qualifications
  • A seminary student of Pastoral Care, Pastoral Counseling or Chaplaincy.
  • Seeking knowledge and practice in Pastoral Care methods, including delivering spiritual guidance interventions tailored to diverse beliefs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, maintain confidentiality and professionalism with sensitive, emotional situations.
  • Ability to provide culturally sensitive care and work under the guidance of CPE Supervision.
  • In progress or completion of Master of Divinity (M.Div.); seeking certification as a chaplain, or equivalent education preferred.
  • Experience working in diverse environments or with community organizations is a plus.
