The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist registered Pharmacist who is responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of prescribed medication to patients. The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist 2 applies clinical and operational expertise to ensure effective and compliant processing and dispensing of Specialty pharmacy prescription orders to be mailed to patients' homes and/or provider offices. Primarily responsible for backend fulfilling of medications and shipping out to patients and/or providers. Regularly interact with various departments to ensure timely processing. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
- Must have Pharm
D or equivalent - FL Board of Pharmacy State License
- Minimum 3yrs. Retail or Mail Order Experience
- Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
- Ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving
- Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient with computers
ON-SITE Position: 11010 Florida Crown Dr Suite 200 Orlando, FL 32824
Hours:
6am-6pm EST Mon-Thurs; 7-4pm EST rotating Fridays
