Clinical Coordinator, Cardiovascular Technology

One of the most dynamic and rapidly growing fields, Cardiovascular Technology prepares students for immediate careers as cardiovascular technologists. This 12‑month faculty position coordinates clinical placements, builds partnerships, and ensures experiences meet academic, professional, and regulatory standards.

Compensation

Base salary +
TV pay additive of $10,000 per year (paid biweekly) and a $5,000 relocation incentive
. Salary ranges by degree:
Bachelors $68,039–$85,372;
Masters $73,288–$90,621;
Masters+30 $ 78,537–$95,870;
Doctorate $83,786–$101,119.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all student clinical placements; ensure they align with academic, professional, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with clinical sites, match students with appropriate placements, cultivate professional relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records for sites, placements, evaluations, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure students meet all clinical prerequisites (background checks, immunizations, badges).
  • Develop, adjust, and manage clinical schedules; resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Monitor student performance and competencies; provide feedback in collaboration with faculty and preceptors.
  • Serve as primary contact for clinical issues; resolve concerns promptly.
  • Contribute to program development: assist with policies, procedures, and continuous professional development.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiopulmonary Sciences, or related health science field.
  • Current RCIS Invasive Cardiovascular Technology license or equivalent, maintained per regulatory requirements.
  • 3–5 years of cardiovascular health‑care experience, including clinical practice and academic instruction.
  • Experience with instructional methodology, curriculum development, and teaching.
  • Knowledge of clinical education processes, academic, institutional, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem‑solving, and student‑support skills.
  • Florida residency requirement: must be established within 30 days of start.
Instructional Workload

Fall: 12 contact hours;
Spring: 12 contact hours;
Summer: 3 contact hours. Minimum full‑time instructional faculty work 40 hours per week.
