Performs diagnostic inpatient and outpatient EKG, EEG, Holter monitor, and cardiac stress test procedures in the routine, critical and emergency settings according to the standards set forth in departmental and hospital policy and procedure and within the scope of care of the Cardiopulmonary Department.

• High School Graduate / GED

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Other: EKG, Cardiac Stress Testing

• BLS or BLS Instructor

• 2-5 yrs Experience in Cardiovascular system and EKG arrhythmias/Stress testing

• Experience in Electroencephalogram (EEG)

• Able to recognize abnormalities correlate information obtained and convey the findings to physicians

• Flexibility with schedule to include holidays

• Proficient in electrocardiographic techniques and EEG techniques in order to produce accurate and appropriate physiologic information.
