Job Description- Manages incoming calls related to provider coverage at the hospital.
- Registers new patients in the designated computer system.
- Speaks to patients about their procedures and obtains necessary authorizations and pretesting paperwork.
- Assists appointment schedulers and receptionists with scheduling new, post‑op, and established patients.
- Maintains and updates physician out‑patient orders for follow‑up appointments and diagnostic testing, and communicates with physicians about any difficulties reaching patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.

- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or healthcare related field or ten years of supply chain experience
- 1+ cardiology and scheduling experience. [Preferred]
- 1+ experience dealing with hospital departments strongly [Preferred]
- 1+ experience with computers and associated office software [Preferred]
- 1+ experience working in a healthcare environment [Preferred]
