The Dermatology Scheduler will report to Clinic Manager of UCF Health.

The Dermatology Scheduler provides administrative support to medical providers in a clinic setting. This position will support the dermatological scheduling needs for the practice in Lake Nona.

• Refers or triages patients to appropriate nursing staff
• Determines appropriate timing/types of appointments and procedures
• Sends documentation to appropriate parties regarding patient care
• Adheres to HIPAA guidelines/regulations
• Registers patients and verifies insurance
• Assists with patient referrals

• Education level – High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience – 0+ years of relevant experience. Previous dermatological scheduling preferred.
• Specific skills – Providing administrative support to medical staff.
• Personal characteristics – We are seeking an individual who has a passion for training and developing future Doctors.
• Certifications – None required.
• Licenses – None required.
• Physical abilities – Standard office environment with no unique physical demands
