Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Assistant to support our clinical research operations. This role performs a variety of laboratory and clinical support tasks including specimen collection, blood draws, kit creation, inventory management, and shipping of research specimens.
Key Responsibilities- Assist CRCs and Investigators with day‑to‑day clinical study activities to support the efficient conduct of clinical trials.
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection according to study protocols.
- Manage specimen inventory, packaging, and shipping in compliance with regulatory and study requirements.
- Prepare and assemble study kits for upcoming clinical trials.
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) activities related to source documents and Case Report Forms (CRFs).
- Support general lab tasks as directed by the Lab Supervisor.
- Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience (required).
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist experience.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Intermediate to advanced comfort with internet and web‑based technology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong document review abilities.
- Training or experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and medical documentation standards preferred.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced clinical research environment.
- Clinical research experience
- BLS and/or ACLS certification
- Blood draw proficiency
- Medical assistant or phlebotomy experience
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
