About This Position
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is responsible for preparing the operating room, equipment, instruments and supplies for scheduled cases and maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures. The CST works closely with the surgeon and OR team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care from case setup through room turnover and end-of-day terminal cleaning.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional who values patient safety, thrives in a collaborative and respectful setting, and takes pride in contributing to a positive work environment.
ScheduleMondays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays
7:00 AM until cases are completed (historically before 5:00 PM)
Once a Month, usually on Tuesday, for a deep Terminal Clean

Key Responsibilities- Prepare the operating room, supplies, and equipment using sterile technique.
- Verify case supplies and surgeon preference cards prior to surgery.
- Maintain a sterile surgical field and efficiently pass instruments and supplies.
- Anticipate procedural needs and prioritize workflow during cases.
- Assist with patient positioning, lifting, and turning in a safe manner.
- Participate in instrument processing, room turnovers, and monthly terminal cleans.
- Assist with surgical counts.
- Support ordering and stocking of surgical supplies.
- Maintain compliance with all Surgery Center policies and safety standards.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Current CST certification required.
- Current BLS certification.
- Outpatient surgery experience required.
- Plastic surgery experience preferred.
- Proficiency in instrument processing.
- Physically able to safely lift and move patients.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented with strong attention to detail.
