Job OverviewA Wellness Client Care Specialist (CCS2) contributes to AHF’s mission by presenting a friendly, helpful face to patients seeking HIV testing and prevention services, STI screenings, and treatment in our Wellness Clinics and Fixed Site locations. A CCS2 is a hybrid role providing courteous, confidential, and professional support to clients within testing programs and aids in fostering trust and loyalty.
Responsibilities- Provide a friendly, helpful, and confidential customer‑first experience for patients seeking HIV testing, STI screenings, and treatment.
- Collect medical histories, manage tests and screenings, record vitals, and address health complaints.
- Facilitate patient registration, appointment management, and electronic chart creation.
- Document data accurately, including referrals and reports.
- Perform venipuncture and sample collection—blood and other specimens—and prepare them for laboratory analysis.
- Adapt to a dynamic environment, embodying AHF’s core values and mission in every interaction.
- Valid phlebotomy license or a current medical‑assistant (MA) certificate.
- Experience in venipuncture and sample collection.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team.
