Position: Director of Rehabilitation
Location: Orlando, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary: Up to $110,000 per year

Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead and elevate our rehabilitation services. This leadership opportunity allows you to guide a multidisciplinary therapy team while driving exceptional clinical outcomes and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Direct, organize, and evaluate all rehabilitation services in alignment with facility goals and regulatory standards
- Ensure full compliance with federal and state rehabilitation regulations; recommend and implement policy updates as needed
- Collaborate with residents and families to develop individualized, goal-oriented rehabilitation programs
- Oversee daily staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation in coordination with therapy staff and facility leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, external healthcare providers, and community partners
- Identify departmental challenges and present strategic solutions to the Administrator
- Ensure rehabilitation department readiness and compliance during state and federal surveys
- Oversee accurate, timely, and compliant therapy documentation and progress notes
- Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care and functional outcomes
- Prior leadership experience required; previous ADOR/DOR experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation or related field (required)
- Active, unencumbered Rehabilitation Therapist license (OT, PT, or SLP)
- Minimum of 3 years of rehabilitation experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting (hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of RUGs and CMI
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
