Pediatric ENT APRN or PA-C AdventHealth for Children

Advent Health for Children Pediatric ENT seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their new Pediatric ENT program.

General Summary:

• The NP or PA assists the otolaryngology attending in all aspects of patient care. This position involves practice in the clinical setting, including inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, and pre-operative and post-operative care.
• The practice will involve care and management of patients requiring a consultation for ENT-related diagnoses.
• Care will include performing clinic assessments, admission, history and physicals, daily plan of care, and some minor procedures.
• Practitioner will manage the inpatient course in collaboration with the attending.
• Practitioner will coordinate referrals and follow up on consults to other providers and clinic staff.
• Practitioner will provide emergency room and hospital consultations.
• Practitioners will provide care to ambulatory/ patients when needed in coordination with ambulatory nursing staff.

Schedule Details:

• Campus Covered:
  Advent Health Orlando
• Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm;
  Friday 8am - 2pm
• Call rotation required

Required Education/Experience:

• Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• 3+ years Pediatric experience required

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

• Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license
• Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other national recognized certification organization
• Current BLS and ACLS
