Medical Assistant

Role: Senior Certified Medical Assistant in an ambulatory care setting, providing patient care under physician or APP supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Collects patient data, assists with examinations and procedures, administers routine treatments and medications, documents patient information, and supports scheduling and care coordination.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives, mentors Medical Assistants, and participates in departmental committees and special projects.
• Ensures effective communication with patients and team members, maintains compliance with policies, and promotes efficient use of resources.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent, successful completion of Medical Assistant training or applicable work experience, current BLS certification, and certification/registry as a Medical Assistant from recognized agencies.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, professional communication, teamwork, and adherence to regulatory standards.
