Medical Assistant/Scribe/Physical Rehab Therapist at Rose Healthcare Center, Orlando, FL.

Rose Healthcare Centre, 6640 Old Winter Garden Road, Orlando, Florida 32385 (Full-Time or Part-Time Position). Situated in the Metro West region of Orlando at the corner of Hiawassee Road and Old Winter Garden Road in Oak Hill Village Center, directly facing Hiawassee Road.

Position
  • Friendly, organized, highly motivated and dedicated Scribe / Medical Assistant / Physical Rehab Therapist for immediate hire to join and work alongside our dedicated team, providing a positive impact on our patients' experience and the quality of the care that they receive.
  • Motivated team player with a very positive attitude while working within a clinical setting that balances patient service with a tight appointment schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, extremely pleasant, fast‑paced learner, maintaining mental focus on the tasks at hand.
  • Willing to provide substantial training for the right person.
Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent (minimum).
  • Pre‑professional health education students are particularly welcome to apply.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic clinical office environment, capable of sustained task‑oriented attention to details.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and grammar skills.
  • Being multi‑lingual is a plus, particularly Spanish, but not essential.
  • A positive personality, respectful treatment of others, and attention to patient details and needs.
  • 40 hours a week (if F/T). Willing to hire P/T students.
  • Highly motivated person to join our team for immediate hiring.
Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, verify patient information, obtain medical histories, take vital signs, prepare patients for physical and radiographic examinations, and assist with required testing and physical medical treatment.
  • Cross‑train to perform front office duties including greeting patients, obtaining insurance authorization, checking patients in & out, communicating wait times, assisting with referrals for advanced diagnostic testing and procedures, and similar duties.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients.
  • Check out patients and assist with the billing process and referral processing.
  • Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history.
  • Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments.
  • Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies.
