Rehabilitation Physical Therapist

• Develop and implement tailored physical therapy treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and functional independence for patients.
• Engage directly with patients, guiding them through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and rehabilitative activities that promote recovery and pain alleviation.
• Educate patients and their families on proper body mechanics, safe exercise practices, and effective home exercise programs to ensure ongoing success after therapy sessions.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapies, under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functional capability to inform ongoing treatment strategies.
• Maintain organized treatment spaces, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are ready for efficient patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to create comprehensive treatment strategies that address the unique needs of every patient.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients navigating their rehabilitation journey, cultivating a positive and motivating therapeutic environment.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, protecting patient confidentiality and respecting the rights and dignity of all individuals entrusted to your care.

The role involves working with a diverse range of patients recovering from various conditions and injuries, including but not limited to musculoskeletal disorders, neurological impairments, and post-operative rehabilitation. Our client focus includes pediatric and geriatric populations, requiring a high level of adaptability and understanding of age-specific needs in rehabilitation.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and practices, particularly in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills.

• Minimum one year of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within a rehabilitation-focused practice.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to document patient care effectively.
