Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Orlando
Location: Orlando, FL
Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift
Pay Rate: Up to $53 per hour

Position Summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitative services that improve mobility, independence, and overall quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, posture, gait, and balance.
  • Fit, educate, and train residents on the proper use of adaptive equipment, including orthotics and prosthetics.
  • Select and apply appropriate physical modalities based on diagnosis and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals to provide coordinated, resident-centered care.
  • Monitor resident progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately.
  • Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings.
  • Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and support staff.
  • Lead in-service education sessions for clinical team members.
  • Oversee ordering, maintenance, and proper use of therapy equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Florida Physical Therapist license
    .
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
  • Passion for working with seniors and enhancing quality of life through rehabilitative care.
