- Oversee administrative duties and operational efficiency of the facility
- Move patients through the check-in and check-out process
- Manage patient complaints
- Ensure the office operates efficiently
- Support organizational activities and maintain relationships with the Regional Director of Operations, Center Manager, and Clinical Manager
- Complete timely and accurate clinical services data entry
- Manage the office in the absence of the Center Manager
- Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors
- Support positive front office operations
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling, registration, check-in, check-out, payment collection, and billing inquiries
- Maintain efficient patient flow
- Provide information about Commercial Insurance and Medicaid resources
- Complete eligibility for the sliding fee discount program
- Scan and import patient data into the electronic medical record
- Attend internal and external meetings
- Contribute to organizational goals
- Travel as necessary using a personal vehicle
- Perform other assigned responsibilities
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, Required
- Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Required
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, Preferred
- Typing 40wpm
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Creole, Preferred
- Must maintain current auto insurance at own expense
- Must successfully pass a post-offer drug/alcohol screen
- Subject to criminal background checks
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday, 8am–6pm and Fridays, 8am–12pm, with occasional off-hours or off-days as operational needs require
- Ability to work in an outpatient healthcare setting and perform the described physical duties, including sitting, standing, walking, repetitive hand and wrist motions, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds
Demonstrates proficiency in administrative operations and customer service within an outpatient healthcare setting, ensuring efficient patient flow and effective communication with staff and patients. Capable of managing office responsibilities and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders while supporting organizational goals.
