As a comprehensive acute care facility, the hospital offers a full scope of medical and surgical services, including cardiovascular, general surgery, orthopedics, and women’s services with labor and delivery, alongside a future NICU. Opening with 124 beds, the 455,000 square foot hospital will be able to expand to up to 240 beds.

For labor and delivery, the hospital features six private suites thoughtfully designed to make you feel at home while providing exceptional medical care. The Environmental Services Technician Level I is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, clean, healing environment. The role ensures daily room cleaning and timely room turnaround times related to patient throughput within the basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The Environmental Services Technician, in accordance with organizational standards of quality, is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and customer experience.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
- Responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers, using appropriate designated engagement techniques.
- Cleans and disinfects patient rooms and ancillary areas, to include, but not limited to, bathrooms, public areas, corridors, medication storage rooms as directed and any other areas that may require attention using designated and appropriate chemicals and cleaning procedures.
- Accesses and uses all department related technology systems, such as but not limited to, the Bed
- Management systems, while demonstrating good working knowledge.
- Replenishes supplies as needed, removes bio-medical waste, trash, and soiled linen as required daily and changes cubicle/window curtains as needed.
- Completes patient room and bathroom cleaning daily to accommodate discharges/admissions and overall cleanliness standards, utilizing the approved procedures for patient room cleaning, to include Bed Management systems where applicable.
- Performs duties while demonstrating working knowledge of health care cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements, proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor-saving products for all items within the healthcare environment assigned for servicing.
