Location:
LifePoint Conemaugh Nason Medical Center Shift: PRN- part time, work as needed. Open availability required for as needed shifts (must have day, evening, and overnight availability to be considered). Holiday and weekend availability is required. Shifts will range between 8-12 hours. Hours will include a rotating on-call schedule. PRN associates will be cross-trained in multiple departments as needed.

- Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process working across multiple computer systemsto register patients efficiently
- Answer phones and gatheraccuratepatient informationquicklyin afast‑paced environment
- Supporttimelyaccess to careby minimizing delays in registration and answer questions with confidence, clarity, and compassion
- Build trustwith patients during moments when they may be ill, anxious, confused, or overwhelmed
- Navigate diverse insurance plans and coverage details, enter demographics and medical data, collectco‑paysand provide cost estimates when applicable
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow
- Exceptionalcustomer service experience,communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong composure and professionalisminafast‑paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize quicklywithhigh attention to detail
- Comfortable with shifting priorities based on patient needs
- Experience with patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front deskis a plus (but not required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass background check, drug test, and meet vaccination requirements
- Experience in healthcare administration & patient access
- Exposure torevenue cycle, insurance processes, and hospital operations
