Position Summary

Pharmacy Technician II

Variable Full-Time | 32 hours per week | Monday - Friday, Day Shift

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation and distribution
• Maintain medication inventory and support procurement processes
• Perform pharmacy technician duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
• Support sterile compounding and aseptic techniques, including specialty medications
• Operate pharmacy technology and automated dispensing systems
• Maintain USP 797 standards and required regulatory documentation
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of medications
• Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives
• Train and mentor new pharmacy technicians as needed
• Maintain advanced expertise in specialized pharmacy practice areas
• Support customer service and patient care through collaboration with healthcare teams

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Greater than one (1) year and up to four (4) years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Active Pharmacy Technician Registration required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
