What are you motivated by?

The Laundry Assistant maintains high standards of cleanliness in assigned areas while providing excellent customer service to owners and guests.

What you're great at:

• Reports for duty on time and in uniform
• Operates washers and dryers, loading, unloading, and cleaning filters as necessary
• Sorts heavily soiled linens for cleaning or disposal and records totals of all soiled linens
• Folds linens and stores them neatly by category
• Reports malfunctions to supervisor
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas
• Advises supervisor of linen shortages, detergent needs, and categories for purchasing
• Organizes linen allocation to room attendants
• Cleans guest rooms, lobby, corridors, service and vending areas, and restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed
• Collects trash throughout the property
• Assists with housekeeping duties and covers shifts when necessary
• Performs outdoor maintenance and participates in cleaning projects as directed
• Performs all other duties assigned by management
