Evermore Orlando Resort is an expansive and technically complex property spanning 1,100 acres with multiple operational components. The resort integrates resort‑owned vacation rental homes, large‑scale water features, and extensive recreational infrastructure. The eight‑acre Evermore Bay lagoon includes advanced water treatment, circulation, and safety systems that require continuous monitoring. Two championship golf courses, numerous pools, water sports facilities, and a wide range of amenities, including pickleball courts, event spaces, and dining venues, further enhance the offerings.

Key Responsibilities- Ensure that the weekly schedule is accurate and up to date according to cast member availability.
- Create and maintain an active log of cleanliness and maintenance work orders and ensure their timely completion, including work orders generated by third party contractors.
- Continually monitor and support the daily operation of the recreation team in any way with a focus on area upkeep and team member professionalism.
- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of recreational facilities, including swimming pools, sports courts, game rooms, fitness center, and outdoor adventure areas.
- Assist in the mass hiring, training, and supervision of a team of recreational staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high‑quality guest service.
- Assist in the creation and execution of department training SOPs and team member development planning.
- Conduct regular safety audits for facility and for staff member performance.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and skilled team.
- Design and execute an inventory system for recreational equipment, to ensure its proper maintenance, repair, and replacement as needed.
- Collaborate with other resort departments, such as guest services, food and beverage, and housekeeping, to ensure seamless coordination of services and activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment throughout all recreational areas.
- Accurately report staffing needs, expenses, and other reporting items to the Director and Assistant Director to ensure accurate budgeting and productivity levels.
- Actively engage with guests, addressing their inquiries, resolving complaints, and continuously seeking feedback to exceed their expectations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Recreation.
- Manage the recreational experience through the resort application and activity software. Ensure accuracy in the staffing, pricing, and availability of each activation.
- Continuously work to improve the staff member experience through recognition, individualized development opportunities, and one on one meeting sessions.
- Manage progressive discipline including tracking, recording, and issuing feedback as deemed necessary by Evermore employee policies and procedures.
- Manage team member onboarding and performance through 14/30/60 day and annual reviews.
- Design and implement the training, onboarding, and operational SOPS for all recreation operation needs.
