JOB SUMMARY

Oversee and provide leadership to the daily operation of Park Services including direction for Team Members, Guests, and interdepartmental partners. Monitors the operation to ensure Guest and Team Member safety, positive Guest interactions, park cleanliness, and proper usage of equipment & chemicals. Accountable for daily labor budgets, scheduling, show quality, regulatory compliance, and development in assigned area(s).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees the daily operation to ensure proper staffing, efficiencies, and Guest service standards are met. Updates route sheets according to park attendance. Provides work direction to Team Members to ensure departmental Standard Operating Procedures are upheld and all equipment is operated within the appropriate safety guidelines. Responsible for responding to Guest and operational issues, communicating with various operational partners and is the first responder to operational and Guest situations.

    Oversees the upkeep of daily/weekly/monthly cleanliness tracking/rating documents and reports.
  • Ensures the safety of Guests and Team Members working within Park Services by reviewing and revising safety practices and procedures and responds to potentially unsafe conditions. Performs all operational duties related to the daily opening and closing of the resort including checklists, paperwork for operational readiness and safety. Inspects the work environment to ensure that each location has proper supplies/stock and is clean and organized.

    Schedules daily break and lunch periods to ensure appropriate coverage of positions. Coaches and use feedback forms to document and maintain safe Team Member actions in accordance with UDX policy.
  • Responsible for developing, coaching and training Park Services Team Members. Manages daily labor budgets for assigned venues and mitigates overtime by adjusting staffing according to daily attendance projections. Creates venue schedules for Assistant Manager approval, incorporating availability, meetings, classes, and various training programs. Monitors, tracks and records overtime and training projections and results. Analyzes and responds to various reports including but not limited to Guest comments and incident reports.
  • Focus on Guest and Team Member satisfaction. Ensures that each Team Member is meeting UDX service standards and assisting Guests while maintaining an efficient, safe and pleasant environment. Ensure that Team Member Satisfaction (TSAT) and Guest Service (GSAT) initiatives and programs are being followed to keep the workplace fun while increasing overall job satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Maintains positive relationships and partners with other departments to ensure that departmental goals are being met while maintaining standards. Responsible for maintaining the quality, cleanliness and facility maintenance standards to ensure the resort is “Show Ready” for Guests at all times and in back-of-house areas for Team Members. Assists with projects, initiatives and sustainment efforts as directed.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • At times, this individual may cover an area with multiple venues depending on scheduling and business needs. This individual will manage daily labor budgets and is responsible for the safe, efficient and friendly operation of the venues daily as well as the safety of the Team Members who work at these venues.
  • Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business needs.

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE
  • 1+ years of leadership experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
