Kitchen Buffet Attendant

The Buffet Attendant at Rosen Hotels & Resorts is primarily responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the buffet in the restaurant. They replenish buffet items as needed and assist in serving guests. The Buffet Attendant provides exceptional guest service by ensuring all guests' needs are met and maintains proper safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the buffet area before meal service, ensuring all items are properly arranged and presented.
• Maintain the buffet during meal service, ensuring food items are replenished promptly and maintaining an attractive presentation.
• Assist guests in the buffet area, providing information about the dishes and accommodating special requests.
• Clear tables during and after each meal, removing used dishes and ensuring a clean and tidy dining environment.
• Store equipment and leftover food at the end of each shift in its designated place.
• Ensure proper safety and sanitation procedures are followed in the buffet area, including food handling and storage.
• Provide exceptional guest service, addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly and courteously based on Company Standards.
• Work under variable temperatures and noise levels, with the ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, twisting, reaching with the body and arms, and lifting to lbs.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
• Adhere to the drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies of the company.

Experience/

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
