DescriptionSummary:
The Beverage Manager at Rosen Hotels & Resorts coordinates the activities of associates engaged in selling alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises. They estimate and order food items, liquors, wines, and other drinks, inspect the establishment, and ensure compliance with safety standards and liquor regulations based on Company Standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily food & beverage operations to ensure consistent service, quality, and compliance with Rosen Hotels & Resorts standards to include full operational oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management for multiple budgets.
- Provide strong daily leadership that inspires a positive, guest‑focused, and performance‑driven culture among all food & beverage associates.
- Deliver warm, proactive, and professional guest service by anticipating needs and resolving concerns promptly.
- Coordinate and guide associates engaged in the sale and service of alcoholic beverages, ensuring responsible practices at all times.
- Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and liquor laws by routinely inspecting the operation and observing both associates and guests.
- Train, coach, and develop team members on service standards, operational procedures, and departmental expectations.
- Create and maintain professional working relationships and promote teamwork amongst associates.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
- Estimate and order food, beer, wine, liquor, and other beverage items to maintain proper inventory levels.
- Support sales growth by planning and arranging promotional programs and in‑house activations.
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling and POS transactions, following established financial controls.
- Stay informed on menu updates, service innovations, and training opportunities to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance that reflects the Rosen Hotels brand.
- Perform extensive walking, standing, and bending required for daily beverage operations.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and extended hours based on business needs.
- Uphold the company's drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies within the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of previous food & beverage experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of previous leadership experience required.
- Experience in marketing a bar to external and internal customers.
- Hotel food & beverage experience preferred.
- Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
