Position OverviewThe Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the HR department, assisting in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR record-keeping. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
- Maintain accurate HR records, files, and employee documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in coordinating training sessions, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help ensure compliance with HR policies and employment laws.
- Support HR team with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as needed.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software (e.g., HRIS) a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
