The Campus Recruiter provides the highest level of talent acquisition services by seeking out skilled individuals for employment at colleges and universities. He/she leads and enhances our robust college relations and recruiting program by evaluating, planning and implementing best practices to ensure a pipeline of college talent from select construction management and civil engineering programs.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job)
  • Work closely with & support Recruiting Manager to deliver on the full-cycle campus recruiting process.
  • Develop relationships with existing and potential University construction management or civil engineering programs.
  • Coordinate & schedule university campus events for recruiting & company recognition.
  • Oversee campus visits by ensuring appropriate R&M staff and materials are available.
  • Develop/Update our college recruiting on-campus presentations.
  • Attend career fairs and other campus events.
  • Coordinate & implement college-recruiting initiatives for designated hiring managers.
  • Assist in management of the Co-Op/Internship Program.
  • Assist in management of Field Engineer hiring process.
  • Build & maintain close working relationships with the leadership team to identify recruiting needs.
  • Develop & maintain relationships with all current R&M Co-Ops/Interns.
  • Coordinate and communicate interview dates and travel plans for prospective candidates.
  • Develop effective college communication methods and work to understand notable campus trends to prepare for success.
  • Facilitate hiring of qualified team members for entry-level positions.
  • Assist in managing candidate activity in applicant tracking system.
  • Continuously evaluate effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Research and recommend additional campuses to visit.
  • Build & maintain network of contacts to help identify & source qualified candidates.
  • Contribute to establishment of an “employer of choice” reputation for the company.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Construction Management, Communications or related field preferred.
  • Ability to network with a large group of eager college students.
  • 1 year of experience recruiting. Prior recruiting experience in a multi-site company, preferably within construction preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, manage time effectively in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish professional, trusting and meaningful relationships with candidates, potential candidates, clients, industry professionals and Robins & Morton staff.
  • Ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, exercise a high degree of professionalism in interactions with all levels of internal and external clients.
