Payroll Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Orlando, Florida. This position is ideal for individuals with extensive experience in handling comprehensive payroll processes for large organizations. The role requires expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations and proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities:

- Process full-cycle payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.

- Utilize ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems to manage payroll functions efficiently.

- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and related issues.

- Prepare and analyze payroll reports to support organizational decision-making.

- Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for all payroll transactions.

- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to align payroll processes with organizational goals.

- Monitor and implement changes in payroll laws, regulations, and policies.

- Manage payroll for over 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

- Support audits and provide documentation as needed to ensure compliance. Requirements - Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing for large organizations.

- Expertise in managing multi-state payroll operations.

- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with other payroll systems like UKG Pro.

- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

- Ability to handle payroll for over 500 employees with attention to detail.

- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and address employee concerns.

- Proficiency in preparing and analyzing payroll reports.
