Position Summary
Highly skilled Physician Recruiter, Senior is responsible for leading full-scope recruitment initiatives across the Orlando Health enterprise. Serves as a strategic partner to executive operators and physician leaders.
Responsibilities- Serves as a subject matter expert to the team, internal, and external customers while anticipating and resolving complex inquiries or escalations with a tactful and concierge approach to workforce planning and strategic growth initiatives.
- Functions as a mentor and guide to other recruiters by sharing expertise, best practices, and supporting skill development across all recruitment activities.
- Aids in the creation and development of team standards and projects surrounding applicant tracking systems, documentation, reporting, key performance indicators, and any initiative which helps achieve team and enterprise goals.
- Manages an inventory of physician requisitions and builds robust pipelines of active and passive candidates including any highly complex or urgent enterprise needs.
- Collaborates with all members of the recruitment, on-boarding, and HR teams to optimize workflows through innovation and data driven decision making.
- Supports relationships with external vendors including the implementation of new resources or tools and representing Orlando Health at recruitment events.
- Demonstrates the highest levels of effective verbal and written communication and responsiveness through all modes and platforms.
- Supports the development of internal training curriculum and facilitation of educational sessions for internal customers.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations concerning employment.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Work requires the ability to travel up to 20%.
- Must be available to work or respond to correspondence outside of normal working hours as needed.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, applicant tracking systems, emerging physician market trends, sourcing tools, marketing approaches, credentialing, and healthcare operations.
- Displays a positive professional attitude with a strong work ethic and executive presence while remaining highly organized and self directed.
- Maintains extensive knowledge of recruitment trends through membership and participation in professional associations.
- Exhibits strong critical thinking, judgement, and negotiation skills.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Licensure / CertificationCertification through the Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) preferred.
ExperienceFive (5) years of related experience, including at least one of the following:
- Physician or advanced practice professional recruiting experience, preferably within a large hospital system.
- Progressive experience in a healthcare role that directly interacts with physicians and/or advanced practice professionals.
