The Associate Manager, Compliance Training, plays a crucial role in ensuring that all team members are trained on relevant legal requirements for their positions. This role involves implementing compliance training requirements, tracking compliance metrics, analyzing training effectiveness, and fostering a culture of ethical behavior. The Associate Manager, Compliance Training, collaborates with various partners across the organization to achieve these training objectives.
Roles And Responsibilities- Ensure training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and written materials, effectively communicate and educate team members on compliance topics. (ex. Recommitment training, Responsible Alcohol Service, Preventing Discrimination & Harassment, etc.)
- Partner with subject matter experts to regularly review and update ongoing compliance training requirements for restaurant and RSC team members.
- Serve as an SME for LMS administration, including configuring and deploying compliance training, managing learner assignments, providing technical support, and resolving service desk inquiries.
- Track legal requirements and best practices to ensure compliance training materials remain current and effective.
- Maintain a system/dashboard for tracking team member compliance training completion.
- Generate and analyze compliance training metrics, providing regular updates on the status of compliance training initiatives and identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide support to brand teams for assigning and tracking compliance retraining as needed.
- Conduct periodic assessments of the effectiveness of compliance training programs and provide strategies to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with brand and functional teams to evaluate compliance training needs and identify any compliance training gaps and emerging issues.
- Assess various compliance metrics and data to identify areas to strengthen the compliance health of the organization.
- Own and maintain a compliance training calendar for brands and RSC, ensuring compliance with training requirements, delivery, and reporting for recurring and new trainings.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of the importance of compliance training.
- Foster a culture of ethics and integrity by promoting the value of compliance within the organization.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, legal studies, business, or related discipline
Required Technical Skills- 5+ years of professional experience in ethics and compliance, human resources, or legal role that includes:
- Strong program and process management experience
- Analyzing legal requirements and compliance standards
- Assessing and implementing initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to establish priorities and manage high-volume work
- Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Analyzing data leveraging database tools (e.g. Excel, BI)
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- A passion for delivering outstanding service
- Working knowledge of restaurant or retail operations
- CCEP, PMP, or other relevant certification a plus
- Experience with LMS administration and configuration
