Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Manager role based in Orlando, FL. The Payroll Manager oversees end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing payroll schedules, validating time and attendance data, administering garnishments, calculating and reconciling payroll taxes, and coordinating employee benefits-related payroll entries. The role also involves maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, responding to employee inquiries, and partnering with HR and Finance on reporting, audits, and process improvements.

The Payroll Manager is expected to implement best practices, support system enhancements, and provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Management, including end-to-end processing and reconciliation.
  • Experience handling Garnishments and Payroll Taxes, with a solid understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of Employee Benefits as they relate to payroll, such as deductions, contributions, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems and Excel; experience with HRIS or ERP platforms is beneficial.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations.
  • Prior experience in a payroll leadership or senior payroll role; certification (e.g., CPP) or relevant coursework is a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
