Test Set Engineer II

Duration: 11 months (possibility of extension)

Join our team as a Test Set Engineer II and help design, develop, and support test hardware 🛠️ and software 💻 for Line Replaceable Units (LRU) and Shop Replaceable Units (SRU)! You'll work on automated and semi-automated test systems 🧪 across Level 1️⃣, Level 2️⃣, and Level 3️⃣ testing.

You'll also manage documentation 📄, execute and analyze test results 📊, and support production & repair environments ✈️🏭 both domestically and internationally 🌎.

Work closely with cross-functional teams 🤝 to troubleshoot, improve, and sustain test tools while maintaining top performance standards!

• Lead meetings & influence stakeholders
• Monitor in-service test tools & implement improvements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality
• Design, develop, and implement test solutions
• Manage ECOs in test tools (hardware & software)
• Perform defect management & resolve issues
• Provide test tool obsolescence solutions ⚡
• Develop & maintain test automation frameworks and scripts 🤖
• Prepare & release project documentation and hardware drawings ✏️
• Communicate effectively across all organizational levels 🗣️
• Perform procurement activities for test tools 🛒

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) + 6+ years relevant engineering experience
• 💻 Experience with:
  Windows 7/10/11, Linux, NI LabVIEW/Test Stand, Visual Studio
• 🌐 Networking & communication protocols:
  Ethernet, USB, RS-232/422, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
• 🔧 Familiarity with: spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, signal/function generators, audio analyzers
• 📋 Strong attention to detail & ability to follow test procedures
• 💪 Work ethic, multitasking, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• 🛠️ Knowledge of SAP, JIRA, and version control tools (Git/Git Hub/Bitbucket)
• 🐍 Programming in Python or Android
• 📡 Familiarity with ARINC standards & digital/RF test techniques
