Description
The Business Analyst, Operational Systems, plays a critical role in executing Correct Craft’s digital and ERP strategy with a specific focus on Epicor Kinetic ERP, supporting both on-premises and cloud-based (SaaS) deployments. This role supports core manufacturing and operational functions including product development, production scheduling, materials management, supply chain, and finance.
The expected travel commitment for this role is 25% depending on business needs.
Key Responsibilities Process Flow Design (10%)- Document current state and future state business processes as they apply to each Correct Craft subsidiary.
- Develop value stream maps and swim lane diagrams for key business processes to facilitate development of new processes using Epicor Kinetic ERP.
- Identify gaps and redundancies in business processes and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate Epicor Kinetic module workshops.
- Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
- Ensure compatibility with external systems for data integration.
- Prepare legacy data for Epicor Kinetic migration.
- Define data mapping and validation rules using Epicor Data Management tool.
- Supports data reconciliation activities ensuring quality of data.
- Develop and execute Epicor Kinetic test plans.
- Track and resolve defects. Coordinates with Epicor support to resolve technical issues.
- Support UAT and deployment signoff.
- Configure Epicor Kinetic company and master data.
- Support upgrades and releases.
- Manage customizations including Kinetic UX, UDFs, UDTs and BPM directives.
- Manage integrations using Epicor REST APIs and ICE framework.
- Develop Epicor dashboards and BAQs.
- Develop new SSRS reports and modify existing reports as required.
- Work with the Analytics team to support Power BI integrations.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize tasks within an Epicor Kinetic ERP implementation or support environment.
- Experience working with Epicor Kinetic Cloud (SaaS) and/or on-prem Epic deployments, including awareness of architectural and support differences.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, including MRP, scheduling, inventory control and costing.
- Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Epicor BAQs and data extraction techniques.
- Experience supporting reporting and analytics tools such as SSRS, Epicor dashboards and Power BI.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and external implementation partners.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience supporting or implementing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment, preferably Epicor Kinetic.
- Experience participating in at least one ERP implementation, upgrade, or major module rollout.
- Fluent in the use of A.I. tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini to optimize and enhance business processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, learning, and professional development.
