We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist/Support Engineer to maintain and develop new infrastructure that helps us support building innovative and scalable software solutions that improve our patient, clinician, and payer experiences. As the IT Specialist/Support Engineer, you will ensure that best practices are followed across the IT team and that robust, secure, and efficient infrastructure is delivered. The right person will have a passion for solving complex problems in a highly collaborative environment.
Job Type: Full-time. Hybrid Role.
- Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative
- Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in the global marketplace
- Enable faster and smarter business processes, and develop analytics for meaningful insights
- Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
- Diagnose and resolve hardware problems; install and configure hardware systems and peripherals; perform maintenance on hardware devices; coordinate repairs with vendors; maintain equipment inventory.
- Investigate system problems and provide solutions.
- Create documentation and maintain a knowledge base.
- Participate in testing and evaluating hardware, research product information and specifications; research automation tools and automate manual tasks wherever necessary.
- Use sound troubleshooting methods and follow industry best practices and division guidelines.
- Process Adherence:
Follow and enforce the established triage and documentation processes, serving as a role model for teammates. - Team Leadership:
Act as a mentor and guide for Level I and 2 technicians, aiding in their technical and professional development. - Onsite Support:
Willingness to travel to office for onsite support as needed. Reliable transportation is a must.
- Educational
Qualification:
A degree in computer science or a related field. - Experience:
At least 5+ years of relevant service as an IT Specialist/Support Engineer - Ticketing Systems:
Experience with JIRA, Zendesk or similar - Leadership
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor, irrespective of job title. - Communication
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. - Problem-Solving:
Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Cultural Fit:
Alignment with our corporate culture and values. - Certifications:
Familiarity with ITIL v3, Connect Wise, and CompTIA A+ certification is a plus. - Tech Stack:
Meraki, Cato, Microsoft, Clonezilla, Drive Strike, Manage Engine, Network Management, MDM, Asset Management.
